Jackson....the big boy

Jackson is turning into such a big boy.  He is feeding himself with a spoon, he is using sippy cups and he even sits on the potty chair.  He might  be potty trained before Nora?!

Matt and I garage saled a bit since there was our annual festival of garage sales for our neighborhood.  Matt bought a light saber from an old lady's garage sale.  Nora didn't quite get how the light saber worked, BUT matt loved it!

Who Needs Snow ?

Who needs snow when you have a driveway that you can 'sled' on?  Nora loves pulling Jackson around in the sled.  It is so fun seeing them be 'friends'.

The kids are loving playing outside.  They will play will water or their bikes or anything as long as we are outside the walls of our house.

Jackson's first, and definetely NOT LAST, corndog!

After getting home from my first night away from Mr. J, I got home and we made lunch.  Jackson was totally digging his corndog.  He hasn't been much of an eater, so to see him devour a corndog was awesome.  He and Nora both LOVED their corndogs.  yes, we are GREAT parents giving our kids corn dogs-but they are meat + a bread - Ha Ha

Kate's Bachelorette Party

The only 2 pictures I have on my phone of the night, but my sister in law is getting married in May and tonight is her bachelorette party.  I had a church meeting for MOPS in the morning and met the bachelorette ladies at a nail place in St. Paul.  We went downtown to the Graves hotel and played a few games.  We then ate dinner at Zelo and hit up some places downtown.  Happy Good Bye to Singlehood Ms. Kate!

Using a plate?

Jackson is not quite getting the concept of the plate yet.  He wants to put it on his head as a hat or lick it or play peekaboo with it.  It is funny, yet I know he needs to eat at food time so I try to make sure he doesn't PLAY with his food/plate. 

Picking Dandelions!!

Nora loves going on walks and on our walk today she wanted to get out of stroller and pick the flowers.  She loved getting down and walking and picking the yellow flowers and showing mommy. 

What I LOVE!!!!

Poor Lovey!

Nora sleeps with her nuk and her lovey!  Well her lovey has seen  2.5 years of strain and finally fell apart.  She has been pulling on his head and ears and chews on his nose.....poor lovey!  The lovey's head finally fell off this morning and Nora says "mommy fix - please"  Oh broke my heart....I set up my sewing machine and fixed the lovey's head and she said "thank you" So Sweet!!!

Watching Landrey and Sullivan

My sister and her husband have both been traveling so to find daycare for all 4 kids is hard.  I had the privilege to watch the little 2, Landrey and Sullivan.  Landrey is just 2.5 months older than Nora so they had a blast and Sullivan is 4 and he was so good with Jackson.  The weather was nice so we went for walks and played outside.  I was hoping since Landrey is potty trained that Nora would want to be like Landrey but NOPE.  We had a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed playing with their cousins.  Now Nora says "Landrey, Sullivan" all the time. 

11 Months Old

Jackson is 11 months old.  He is crawling everywhere and getting into everything.  He is finally drinking formula and is still a bit fussy and wants to be held ALL the time.  People keep saying, it will get better, Matt and I are still waiting for him to settle down and be HAPPY with life.  He is such a happy boy when he is being held and getting 1 on 1 attention.  We keep saying he should have been an only child.  He loves ice cream and dogs and books and his sister and being held and getting kisses and hugs.  He is getting so long and lean because he is still so picky with what foods he eats. His hair is getting blond and LONG. 

Easter

I made Jackson a bowtie for his Easter outfit and Nora got a brand new dress.  We went to my parents house for Easter and went to church with the family.  We then went to Brandon and Courtney's for lunch.  It was delicious.  The kids had an easter egg hunt and got some change & candy from both great grandmas.

My dad was changing the oil on his tractor on Saturday while we were there and the oil spilled just as a huge gust of wind came through---hence he is COVERED in oil.
