College Roommate Reunion

Matt's college roommate, Andy, who lives in Iowa came up for the weekend so a few of his roommates got together to hang out and catch up.  We played at a park in Edina for a few hours and then droveto St. Paul to the Nook for a great tasting burger.  yummy!  Perfect spot to bring kids, if you eat downstairs.  Nora loved looking at the bowling alley which was right there.

Nora finds crazy things to entertain herself in the car.  Here she drew all over her lips with a dry erase crayon.  She is fascinated with lipstick lately and I guess this is her way of showing me!

We finally got to meet my high school friends' baby, Harper, this week.  She is so cute and Nora loves saying 'baby harper'.  Harper looks like her daddy, Ross.  It is so fun to see my friend as a mommy.  We had a blast meeting Baby Harper and cannot wait to see her grow up.  Nora and Jackson and her will be best friends.

Nora is now starting to play around at naptime and bedtime.  This is a picture after she had been in her bedroom for 2 hours at night time.  She took out EVERY SINGLE WIPE and they lay in a pile on the floor.

It has been unseasonably warm here in MN.  We have been outside trying to take in all the sun and warmth.

Home depot Adventures

 

Family trip to Home Depot to get paint supplies and some more tile stuff.  Jackson and Nora loved sitting in the home depot race car shopping cart. 

Home Projects

We have done a bunch of house projects.  With the help of my dad, we installed wood laminate flooring in our main level, ripping out the carpet.  We put tile in our entry way thanks to the help of uncle Kyle.  We painted all our oak trim white.  I've been painting end tables and coffee tables and doors.  It is hard finding the time when you have a feisty 10 month old and a 2 year old getting into the paint or trying to touch the paint you just painted.  Slowly but surely the projects will get done.  We are lucky to have such handy people around us to help us. 

10 months Old

Jackson is 10 months old.  He is feisty and moves everywhere.  Trying to sit him still for a photo is almost impossible.

We got Jackson's big boy carseat today in the mail.  We ordered it from Amazon.com and it is the same version as we got for Nora.  I took it out of box and Jackson climbed up in it.  I guess he is ready to be done with his cute elephant infant carrier.
