Watching Landrey and Sullivan

My sister and her husband have both been traveling so to find daycare for all 4 kids is hard. I had the privilege to watch the little 2, Landrey and Sullivan. Landrey is just 2.5 months older than Nora so they had a blast and Sullivan is 4 and he was so good with Jackson. The weather was nice so we went for walks and played outside. I was hoping since Landrey is potty trained that Nora would want to be like Landrey but NOPE. We had a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed playing with their cousins. Now Nora says "Landrey, Sullivan" all the time.

11 Months Old

Jackson is 11 months old. He is crawling everywhere and getting into everything. He is finally drinking formula and is still a bit fussy and wants to be held ALL the time. People keep saying, it will get better, Matt and I are still waiting for him to settle down and be HAPPY with life. He is such a happy boy when he is being held and getting 1 on 1 attention. We keep saying he should have been an only child. He loves ice cream and dogs and books and his sister and being held and getting kisses and hugs. He is getting so long and lean because he is still so picky with what foods he eats. His hair is getting blond and LONG.

Easter

I made Jackson a bowtie for his Easter outfit and Nora got a brand new dress. We went to my parents house for Easter and went to church with the family. We then went to Brandon and Courtney's for lunch. It was delicious. The kids had an easter egg hunt and got some change & candy from both great grandmas.

My dad was changing the oil on his tractor on Saturday while we were there and the oil spilled just as a huge gust of wind came through---hence he is COVERED in oil.

DogSitting

Our neighbors went on a little vacation so we watched their puppy, Daisy. Nora loved having a puppy in the house. She was so distraught when we left to go somewhere and put the puppy in the kennel. Jackson enjoyed the puppy until the puppy licked him, then he would cry. We went for 3 walks a day to get the puppy's energy down and to entertain the kids! It was a lot of fun and we can't wait to do it again.

Jackson Eating Ice Cream

Jackson is loving ice cream. He doesn't eat too many foods so if he will eat it I will give it to him. Matt was sharing some ice cream with him and then the bowl was empty. Jackson was NOT happy. Here is a video showing you his reaction....I think it is hilarious!

A big boy haircut

Jackson got his bangs cut and I tried to cut the back of his mullet but he was a bit wiley and I kept almost nicking his ears. He looks so much older now! He had previously gotten his hair cut around his ears but this was a TRUE big boy hair cut. I was amazed at how much hair I collected to put in his babybook.

Sewing with My college Friends

My college friend, Bridget, got a sewing machine for Christmas and posted on facebook that she needed to learn how to sew. We got together with another college friend, Sarah, and sewed a few adorable shirts.....I didn't have the nerve to tell them that we really weren't 'sewing'. It was more of a cut out and iron process but that's ok because we all got together and shared in some good laughs.
