Curlers in her Hair.....

Yep, those are curlers in her hair!  I wanted to see if I could get Nora's hair curly so after her bath, I put in foam curlers.  She liked having them put in, so I was thinking ok this is perfect.  Any time we have a fun event going on, I will put curlers in her hair to fancy her up.  Well, come morning time, curlers were all on the side of her crib!!!  Oh well, it was a good thought mommy!  Maybe when she gets a bit older.

Jackson - 6 Months Old

Jackson is getting so big.  He is wanting to get into everything!  He has become a FUSSY little man though.  He needs to be held all the time or he cries.  He has had ear infection or fluid in his ears for the last month so I am thinking it is all connected.  He still wakes up every 2 hours at night so Mommy is getting a bit cranky and is WAY SLEEP DEPRIVED.

We drove to St. Paul to meet Matt's cousin, Ben's new little girl, Lola.  Ben and Danielle have Emma who is 4 and now Lola!  She is so beautiful and looks just like her bigger sister.

Halloween

So Matt loves Halloween but ended up having to work late SO that means I went Trick or Treating with both kids.  Nora was a ladybug.  Jackson was Yoda(except that he slept the whole time!)  Nora by the end, really got into walking up the steps and trying to knock on the door.  We were outside and walked around the neighborhood with Nora's neighbor boyfriend, W.

Carving Pumpkins

Halloween is more Matt's holiday than mine.  Which doesn't really make sense to me, since I LOVE CANDY.  If you know me at all, you'll know I will have atleast 1, probably more like 2 or 3 kinds of candy in my purse.  BUT-I don't get Halloween so Matt did all the fun Halloweeny stuff with the kids.  He and Nora carved a pumpkin-ok that is all the holiday stuff they did!  She is only 2 so besides coloring there is not much to do!!

Visit From Aunt Jenny, Reese, Landrey and Grandma Nora

The Graven girls and Grandma Debbie came to visit us so we could go to my cousins Kelly's baby shower.  Grandma Debbie did the little girls hair in french braids.  Jackson loved hanging out with the family.  We all went to Trunk N Treat at our church.  Reese I think enjoyed it more than the others, she got to bounce in the bouncy house, play bean bags, make some crafts.  It was so fun to hang out with everyone.

Byerlys Boo Bash

Each year, Byerlys and Lunds has a 'Boo Bash' where you can go and walk around the store the kids can get treats and candy from the employees.  Well this year, lucky Nora, got to see her uncle AJ at Byerlys.  He got a job there to help with his car--what a good boy!!

Nora getting too tired to think--she looks really happy to be hanging out with Mommy and AJ.  She talks about AJ all the time but then when it comes time to hang out with him she is mute.

Nora's Little Doll

Nora loves treating Jackson like her little doll.  She asks to put him in her baby stroller which, for now, he fits in.  He loves that she gives him attention and that he is moving around.  She's only run him into a few walls.  Besides Jackson, Nora really is liking baby dolls.  She loves shushing them, diapering them, rocking them, putting them to bed.  She is going to be such a great mom, one day (a long time from now!!!)
