Nora is all about drawing all over everything with CIRCLES.  She draws circles on my lists, my budgets, my sunday paper, her magnadoodle.  Circles everywhere!!!!

Playdate with friends

We went over to my friends house and she has a girl a little younger than Nora and a little boy who is a bit younger than Jackson.  We had a lot of fun playing princess and playing with tractors and trucks.  Nora and Josie also played with pom poms and now Nora wants to play and glue pom poms ALL THE TIME now.

Halloween:  We met at a neighbors house and everyone had pizza and then we walked around the neighborhood trick or treating.  The kids really got into it.  Our neighbors dad was hanging out candy at their house and he was too sweet to the kids.  We then drove over to Nana and Papas house to show them our costumes. 

Byerly's Boo Bash

Byerlys grocery store has an annual Boo Bash where the kids can walk around the store and get food/treats/stuff from the employees.  The kids love it and we ran into a few friends which was great.  If you can't tell, Nora was a princess and Jackson was a Target employee.  Again I am not really that into Halloween so we went with costumes that we had most of the parts at home.  I only had to make the crown and princess wand for Nora.  Matt used to work at Target in high school so we used his old employee tag and voila costumes!!

More pumpkin carving

We went to my parents house this weekend to pass the first weekend away from daddy.  We carved more pumpkins with great auntie Laurie.  Of course hung out with the kitties and Lucy.  It was fun to be outside and enjoy the weather.

No pictures:  but Matt left today!  We will be sad and miss him very much!
The kids fell asleep in the car on the way to airport so Matt woke Nora up to say goodbye but left Jack sleeping!

A fun night carving pumpkins and then lighting them up on our steps.  Matt LOVES halloween (I could take or LEAVE halloween!)  but I am glad Matt was able to carve pumpkins with the kids.

A sad sad goodbye

Saying good bye to the ford focus.  I bought her with my own money (ok a little down payment help from my parents) but she was my car in college and first brought Nora home from hospital!  so sad to see the focus go bye bye.....but we donated her to the kidney foundation so she will hopefully be helping others in the future!

My parents wanted to see Matt before he left the country so they met us at the applebees in hutchinson.  It was fun to hang out with them.  Jackson was a bit of a whiney boy but Papa Lee would talk to him and he would talk back to him.  It was funny to see it.  Jackson isn't saying too many words, so Papa would say "are you crabby" and Jackson would say "uh huh?!"

So Matt got laid off from his job a week or so ago......BUT he was in talks with a few other companies already and had an offer on the table.  He was just waiting to get back to them to be sure it was a good fit.  We were really praying about it and asking God to help him make the right decision about jobs.  We felt that God was calling him to take this position so he took a job with a Denmark company---No we will NOT be moving to Denmark, BUT he will be in Denmark training for 8 weeks.  eek.  singleparenthood here I come. 
So that is why we have been able to go to MOA, the pumpkin patch, the EP play place, , etc with Daddy
