Jackson - 7 months Old

Jackson is now eating like a champ and when he eats, he is SO LOUD.  He makes yumming noises and coos and awws and gets excited to see foot.
He is either Happy Baby or Crazy Sad Baby!  There is no middle ground...it is very frustrating because he can be happy one minute and wailing the next and I have NO idea what is wrong.
Jackson is now crawling around-slowly!  Everything goes in his mouth so we have to watch what Nora plays with so she doesn't give him anything he can swallow.  He crawls now and tries to follow his sister around.

Nora's Birthday Party

We celebrated Jackson's Baptism and Nora's Birthday after church at my parents house.  Nora's birthday party theme was 'ELMO'.  My mom made a cake, because sleep deprived me FORGOT A CAKE!!!!  My mom made it yesterday and Nora said 'Elmo' right away so it was a great rendition of Elmo!!  I cannot believe Nora is going to be 2.  She is really starting to enjoy opening presents so it was fun to see her open all the presents for her birthday.

Jackson's First Foods!!!

Jacksons first taste of rice cereal.  I got to say that he is not quite as eager as Nora was.  Nora started babyfood at 4 months and we waited awhile since Jackson didn't show any signs of wanting anything but milk.  He still doesn't quite get the whole concept of eating from a spoon.

Lac qui Parle County Fair

We went to my hometown county fair and Nora enjoyed all the OPEN space.  We walked around and saw all the animals, exotic animals, craft projects and FOOD.  They seriously have the BEST hobo taco I've ever eaten.  When I was younger I couldn't wait until the county fair to have a hobo taco.  Last year my hobo taco fell on the ground when I was trying to help Nora so this year, I made sure we were AT a table and there was no chance of my beloved hobo taco falling on the ground.  All ended up in my belly-not that I needed ALL that hobo taco in my belly, but oh well! County fair rocked and we didn't pay an arm and a leg for it!

Nora enjoying the OPEN space...didn't even care if we were near her or not!

Jackson - 4 month old

Super Happy Baby During the Day should be Jackson's middle name.  He sometimes has a crying fit from 12 to 1pm but most of the time he is happy and smiling at his sister.  He so loves her.  She can do anything and he will follow her with his eyes and smile and coo back at her.
He is still not sleeping at night.  We are getting a bit better but he still can't seem to settle himself down and sleep longer than 4 hours or so at a stretch.

Jackson is rolling over

Jackson is rollling....all the time.  He would rather be on his belly than his back.  A few weeks ago I came to pick him up in his crib and he had rolled but I thought it was a freak accident.  He is only 3.5 months old---I feel that I should remember all this stuff from Nora, but I don't, is this about the time they do this or is he 'advanced?'

He is still super smiley and loves smiling on his back or his belly!

Chaska Touch a Truck

What a great event.  We had so much fun at the Chaska Touch a Truck event.  Different clubs in the city sponsor 'booths' and then you get free food, free ice cream, free prizes at the games, free memories!!!
Nora ate ice cream as her dinner, she threw a volleyball through the hula hoop at the Chaska HS Volleyball booth, she sat in a police car (hopefully the ONLY TIME!), she got a fireman's hat, she ran around and tuckered herself out.  Jackson....SLEPT!
